Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PTToC) connects field teams over LTE, 5G and Wi-Fi rather than a local radio repeater. Pushytap brings AES-256 encryption and sub-100ms voice to Android phones and compatible PoC radios, with physical PTT keys on supported devices.
The problem
Radio coverage stops at the edge of your footprint, and phone calls are the wrong tool for a two-second instruction. Teams end up running three systems and trusting none of them.
What Pushytap does
- Voice arrives in sub-100ms over LTE, 5G or Wi-Fi, so a two-second instruction stays a two-second instruction no matter how far apart the crew is.
- Talkgroups are unlimited and can be spun up for a single incident or a single shift, then retired. There's no channel planning, licensing or trip to the radio shop.
- Every transmission is encrypted end to end, and the same channel carries text, photos, video and files so context does not scatter across personal apps.
- Crews keep the muscle memory of a radio: a dedicated hardware key on rugged handsets, remote speaker mics, headsets and vehicle kits all behave the way they always have.
